Battle Stations reminded me of the game Uncharted Waters (UW) produced by Koei in the 1990’s, it has a large cult following in the East Asia region but not much recognition from other parts of the world.
In UW, the player takes up the role of a captain / commodore, manages a fleet. Players become a trader, an adventurer or a soldier, each with his own background and personal quests, and sail around the seven seas to make a fortune, to earn fame or to find a lover.
